Happy Valentines Day From Stila

I've been looking for a none shimmery bronzer but haven't quite found one I like or that isn't boring and came across this one online but as usual they didn't ship to South Africa or the shipping was double the price of the actual item. Then a couple of days ago Bronwyn over at Mother city mom teased us on Instagram with the same photo of this gorgeous bronzer that Stila is releasing for Valentines day and my Googling went back into over drive again to track down the whens the wheres and the biggest question of all the HOW MUCH haha

Its called the Stila Sweet Treat Bronzing Powder and is said to be inspired by a box of chocolates according to Stila. It consists of a peachy shade and 3 matte and shimmery bronzers. By the look of it alone I can imagine the gorgeous golden glow you could create with this and the contouring and sculpting you can perfect with this gorgeous palette!

The will be sold from the end of January and beginning of February at Stila counters in Woolworths and Stuttafords for R175 which is such a steal. Holding my breath in anticipation!!

Dove Colour Radiance Range

Let me start off with saying, I have tried Dove shampoos and they have not worked for me at all so I kinda wrote their hair care range off completely as useless and wished they just stuck to body care. Then a couple of weeks ago I was sent the complete new range by Dove called Colour Radiance which is designed to maintain and make your dye job last longer. I'll admit that I went in with absolutely no expectations at all I figured that they would be like all the others, BOY WAS I WRONG!

One of the biggest things that stand out about this range is the scent, even with all the bottles being sealed with tape the very first thing I was hit with when opening the packaging it was shipped in was the strong sweet and fruity smell. I am totally obsessed with it, all of them have the same scent but the leave in conditioning & care spray is one of the products that has the strongest scent that last the longest in and I'm glad because it's the one product that I don't think I'll stop using anytime soon.

The range consists of 5 products. The normal everyday shampoo & conditioner, the daily treatment conditioner, the deep repair treatment mask and the leave-in conditioning & care spray. All of these products have the normally shampoo and conditioner creamy texture and consistency. With all of them you only need a very little product and what I loved the most is that they rinse out very easily. You aren't left with any of that product feel or buildup. The other thing I noticed is that my hair would stay cleaner for a extra day and I don't get that bump from my hair being tied up and it's much tamer and doesn't need as much styling to get it under control. The conditioners you alternate and don't use them all at once, so you definitely get all the treatment and conditioning needed. I'll admit that I don't see a real big difference in the lasting power of my dye job though (I dyed my hair immediately when I started using this range to test the theory out) I kind feel it took about the same amount of time for it to fade and start growing out.

The best product by far in this entire range has been the spray in conditioner, which is meant to condition your hair both before and after heat styling but also to add some conditioning back in days after your wash. I wash my hair and dry it and then I spray it in just before styling it with my GHD and it has been amazing.

Prices: Shampoo & Conditioner 200ml R42.99 400ml 62.99, Treatment 180ml R69.99, Mask 200ml R69.99 and Care Spray 200ml R69.99 (this was the price the last time I checked online but all stores vary, I managed to pick up a 400ml shampoo & conditioner and the leave in spray for R99.95 at Clicks at their last sale it ran any 3 dove products for R99)

This is a really amazing range that I have purchased again and I don't think Ill stop using anytime soon it really does do a very good job for dyed hair

M.A.C Magnetic Nude Collection

If I wasn't on a spending band this month after splurging out on Chanel's limited edition Christmas blush which I needed to complete my life (I needed it for my cheeks to make them you know that much prettier) I would already have so much from this collection!! I am so in love with the rich warm gold tones from this collection, and believe me when I say I am sitting here day dreaming about the looks I can create with them. I've even started pinteresting some of the warmer looks hahaha don't judge!!

Ignite your inner magnetism, as glimmering metallics and natural nudes redefine winter opulence. Skin is radiant in soft peachy nudes, fine golds and sheer pearls. Smoky eyes get a metallic effect, shaded with grey mauve, deep copper and iridescent pink. Flushed nudes lend a subtle yet sexy polish, in cool pink and coral Extra Dimension Blush, and pale, creamy shades for lips create a look that's naturally magnetic.

Cant wait to get my hands on some of the blushes, lipsticks, lipgloss and skin finishes!

Dirty Works Pore-fect Face Scrub

I have real teenybopper skin! Which actually sucks balls because if I wash my face with anything in a day or twos time I look like a zit monster attached my face and left traces of his love making behind.  I basically could only use hot water and cream to removed makeup. Which was ok at first but the more you rub you actually start to damage your skin and under my eyes would burn like a mother. And sleeping with makeup on no matter how little is not only unhealthy but it speeds up the aging process of the skin (or so I've heard)

Me being slightly obsessed with Dirty Works products (you can read my review on the hand cream here and the lip plumper here)  jumped at the opportunity to try out their face wash the minute it was unpacked at Clicks.

Let the magic get to work to help perfect the texture of your skin and leave it
extraordinarily smooth. The top beauty treat for skin radiance.

The scrub is a lightweight cream with small non-abrasive jojoba beads which is really exfoliating on the skin, I apply it to my entire face and neck area after I've rinsed it with warm water and it rinses off really well. You only need a small amount of product and you can instantly feel it working the minute its applied, I rub it on in a circular motion concentrating on the areas I'm most prone to break outs (around my nose, chin and fore head) It has a gorgeous fruity scent with a hint of menthol which becomes more apparent once applied. It has a intense cooling effect on the skin which sort of feels like you have tooth paste all over your face. This face wash is perfect to wake you up in the morning and it leaves the skin feeling soft, refreshed and moisturized (your aren't left with that tight feeling) My skin is much more clearer and it feels more even toned, glowing and radiant.

It really does do everything it promises, however I don't think it would work very well for sensitive skin as the menthol is quite strong at first. I picked this up at Clicks for R64.95 and it is worth every cent. Dirty Works really has a winner here and I don't plan on changing anytime soon.

Have a fab day, keep smiling
