Oxygenetix Breathable Foundation - Review

When I was offered a bottle of the Oxygenetix breathable foundation by Conquest to test out I jumped at the chance because I have been hearing really great reviews from other bloggers. I kinda went in not knowing what to expect but hearing every ones great reviews I really expected great things which I honestly feel like it delivered on in all areas.

Oxygenetix breathable foundation is the first truly breathable foundation that contains Ceravitae complex a patent pending formula proven to increase oxygen uptake. It was designed for Doctors for people that have medical procedures, it helps stimulate skin cell production which helps speed up the healing process and in turn reduces the down time.

The foundation was designed to be like a second skin, allowing it to breath but still allow for full coverage. It is water resistant up to 90 minutes, has a SPF of 25, is blendable has colour-corrective shades, transfer resistant, hypo allergenic and completely non irritating to acne, eczema, psoriasis and sensitive skin.

At first I had a love hate relationship with this foundation, It is a matte foundation that disappears into the skin when applied so I can really vouch for the second skin claim. Ive been wearing this foundation for about a month and a half now and my overall appearance of my skin has improved drastically. My acne has cleared up and honestly has never looked better. I do find that by mid day my T zone is oily but every foundation I wear has the same result around that time of the day so this is no problem for me.

It is available in 14 shades, 7 being blue based foundations and 7 yellow based foundations. It retails for R800,00 and can be found at the following outlets in Cape Town. Masckara in Tableview, Body Aesthetics in Oude Westhof Durbanville, Chelsea Aesthetic Clinic in Wynberg or you can contact them directly.

  1. Very exciting is the immanent launch of the Oxygenetix Foundation for acne skins. Which will help treat and prevent breakouts and definitely combat that oily T-Zone :)
